"The world is big and I want to have a good look at it before it gets dark." ― John Muir
I have wanted to have a good look at this big world since I was a tiny person much newer to it. And now, I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to see a whole new corner of it! But first, some back story.
My sweet home is Chicago. This is the place that has inspired my love for diversity, photography, and exploration. With more than 200 neighborhoods in Chicago, another adventure always awaits. I've covered everywhere from Pilsen to Bucktown, mostly on foot, so I've had the opportunity to really get to know the city I love.
But as much as I love my city, there's nothing quite like getting to know somewhere new. I've been lucky enough to have the opportunity to explore parts of France, California, the Midwest, Colorado, and Mexico. I've swum in both the Atlantic and the Pacific, Lake Superior, and Lake Michigan. This blog will be the stories of my experiences so far, and it will go on to share the new stories I collect in my future travels.
I'll be visiting Barcelona in the upcoming weeks, and I plan to leave no stone unturned! So watch for updates as I share with you my greatest successes and failures of getting to know a foreign city.
